Making sure you hire a skilled plumber is very important.  Many times people try to get the cheapest option and then end up paying more later to get the cheap plumbing work redone by a highly skilled plumber.  This doesn’t mean that a good plumber needs to be expensive but it is very important to hire someone that has the skills and experience needed to do the job right.  In this case, the plumber that did the job before didn’t do it correctly and we had to go in and open the wall, replace the mixing valve, install the diverter, and install the shower sprayer.
